What is the difference between a Light Guide Plate and a Custom Light Panel?
A Light Guide Plate (LGP) is the optical plate that guides light through the panel. A Custom Light Panel is a more complete illuminated assembly that can include the LGP, LED light source, reflective and diffusion materials, frame or housing, and related components.
Can the products be customized in size and shape?
Yes. Depending on the product type, we can evaluate custom dimensions, thickness, cut-outs, holes, edge details, irregular shapes, lighting direction and installation structure based on drawings or project requirements.
Can we order samples before volume production?
Yes. Custom projects normally proceed through requirement review, sample production and validation before the final configuration is locked for volume production.
What information should we provide for a quotation?
Please provide the application, dimensions or drawings, available installation thickness, lighting direction, target brightness or lighting effect, color temperature, estimated quantity and project timing where available.
Can Cosun supply LED light source components together with the panel?
Yes. Depending on the project, we can evaluate LED flexible boards, rigid boards, backlight modules, light bars, power supplies and related lighting components together with the optical or illuminated panel structure.
